The Director of Strategic Innovation is responsible for providing executive leadership, management, and oversight in the development, execution, and delivery of advanced solution operations within the Cyber, Technology, Operations & Strategic Innovation Business Unit. This role requires a proven leader with deep expertise in program management and a strong foundation in information technology. The Director will ensure operational excellence across all assigned programs, with responsibilities covering customer engagement and satisfaction, profit and loss (P&L) accountability, invoicing accuracy, and the development of strategies to foster organic growth and mission success.

 

Operational Support

• Serve as the principal liaison with Contracting Officers, Contracting Officer Representatives, Technical Points of Contact, Site Leads, and On-Site Project Managers to ensure program performance aligns with contract requirements, delivery schedules, and established budget parameters.
• Maintain direct coordination with Government Points of Contact (POCs) to uphold superior customer satisfaction and cultivate trusted relationships.
• Provide oversight, direction, and guidance to Site Leads and Project Managers to ensure consistent achievement of program objectives.
• Lead and participate in weekly and monthly program status meetings, authoring and delivering clear, accurate reports on progress, risks, and corrective actions.
• Mentor and develop Project Managers within the division to build organizational leadership capacity and ensure succession preparedness.
• Support corporate growth initiatives through collaboration with the Senior Vice President of Cyber, Technology & Operations, as well as Business Development and Capture management, by identifying and executing opportunities for organic growth and expansion.
• Contribute to the preparation, review, and submission of technical and cost proposals, workload assessments, and resource planning.
• When required, serve in the capacity of Site Lead or Program Manager to ensure continuity of operations and achievement of critical program requirements.

Supervision and Reporting

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or a related discipline required.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or comparable credential required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience in Federal Government information technology and network operations.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance or higher required.
