This position will provide Project Management and Electrical Engineering support for projects as assigned by our government customer.
The successful candidate shall:
Work with Project Managers to ensure proper integration of electrical services for all projects.
Coordinate project requirements with the end user, cutomer staff agencies, unit leadership to ensure proper implementation of required services.
Be responsible for the design, procurement and implementation of all assigned projects.
Provide Technical Solutions, Independent Government Cost Estimates for communications materials and services by others as well as Technical Reviews for assigned projects.
Coordinate network projects with customer to ensure adherence to base architecture and to ensure that maintenance work centers responsible for the maintenance on new systems and/or system changes have coordinated and signed off acceptance documentation.
Coordinate Project Support Agreements (PSAs) for planned projects, perform established QC measures for assigned projects.
Be responsible for the design, procurement and implementation of all assigned project’s electrical requirements with close coordination with customer.
Engineer technical solutions for electrical systems to include and work with PICCIE for Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) installation, life cycle management, preventive maintenance, monitoring and emergency fix actions.
Define and validate the need for proposed new systems through consultation with program officials in customer organizations.
Research for any needed technical solutions and respond accordingly.
Provide customer updates to all infrastructure improvements and additions and update commodity narratives for inclusion for all scored elements.
Be familiar with and adhere to all instructions outlined in the 33 series Communications AFIs
Be capable of working independently and with demonstrated working knowledge of Air Combat Command (ACC) Air Force Network Operations (AFNETOPS) work in information and communications systems, project management, electrical engineering, and quality control.
Possess and exhibit expertise in program and project management of automated data processing systems to include hardware, software, communications, and integrated logistics support requirements.
Have experience in developing concepts, planning documents, implementation strategies, and technical architectures.
Possess experience in running configuration management and requirements processes as they relate to Advance Dynamic Programming (ADP)-based systems fielded within ACC.
Possess experience with guiding the implementation and fielding of downward directed and ACC initiated Automated Information System (AIS) and applications under the Air Force Communications Agency (AFCA) certificate to operate processes.
Personnel performing Information Assurance (IA) functions on a DoD system shall meet the certification requirements established in the DoD 8570.01-M for the category and level functions in which they are performing. Contractors employed under this task should be certified at the M2 level. The deadline for obtaining certification is ninety (90) days after date of award.
Personnel shall read, understand, speak, and write English fluently.
As a minimum, contractor personnel shall successfully complete a NACLC before beginning work on this contract.
