  • Overview

    The ITSM Expert will lead the effort to review and build the organization’s IT service life-cycle.They will define, build, and implement across all ITSM Lifecycle domains – Service Strategy, Service Design, Service Transition, Service Operation, and Continual Service Improvement


    • Provide on-site personnel responsible across all ITSM Lifecycle domains to work across WHIT to define processes; build and document these processes; and work with process owners to implement and train all process participants on their role in the process. 
    • Implementation, adjustment and maintenance of actionable alerts for the WHIT Operations Center, which will pro-actively alert team members to potential service interruptions in a preventative manner in order to restore services in a timely manner.
    • Document all processes in Confluence or other Government-directed document repositories. 
    • Occasionally lead on-site informational ITIL-based training sessions when requested by the Government. 
    • Program deliverables should be in Microsoft Office Suite products, such as MS-Word for document based procedures or MS-Visio for process diagrams, unless otherwise provided by the Government. Government will provide a template outline for document structure for standardization, such standard operating procedures.

    The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle and prioritize multiple, competing tasks and demands and to seek supervisory assistance as appropriate.


    Education and Experience Requirements:

    • 5 Years of ITIL Experience
    • Must possess an ITIL Expert Certification
    • Bachelor's Degree desired
    • Must Hold an Active TS or Secret Clearance.
